The weekend is here so the kids will be dying to get out of the house! Fill their time with fun and useful activities and they will remember it their whole lives.
Here are some of the places for an enjoyable and memorable family trip!
Petrosains is an interactive Science adventure for kids of all ages. The journey starts with the Dark Ride where children are taken through a visual presentation of Malaysia and its nature, showcasing the rainforests, seas and mountains. The kids will also get to perform experiments hands-on with help from the assistants inside, learn about dinosaurs and the technology all around them.
Recently, Petrosains has a new gallery called Space where kids can learn about outer space and astronauts. Parents can check their website regularly to keep up on interesting workshops for children!
2. Aquaria KLCC
For children who love fishes, taking them to Aquaria KLCC will be a dream come true. The kids get to view sharks swimming above them and beside them. They will also find out that fishes come in many shapes and sizes, and also have very different habits!
There is a new section called Station Aquarius. It’s designed like a real underwater lab and is separated into four sections: MOON Lab, Jellyfish Lab, Seahorse Lab and Eco Lab. In each lab, the kids will learn about conservation and how sea animals adapt and evolve.
3. Kuala Lumpur Bird Park
Kuala Lumpur Bird Park is the World’s Largest Free-flight Walk-in Aviary, making it a good place to go with a big group of kids. There, the children get to feed all kinds of birds and watch how they behave. They will also get to know where baby birds such as chickens come from and how they develop in eggs before hatching. To make the visit memorable, take them to the Bird Show.
4. Jump Street Asia
Jump Street Asia is the only place where the kids can jump wildly without parents telling them to stop! There are designated spaces to separate the adults from the kids so the kids have the space all to themselves. They can jump into the foam pit, slam dunk during basketball or just bounce around the walls.
5. District 21
Kids love adventure and they can find one in District 21! They can bring their imaginations to live as they traverse through obstacle courses and jump on trampolines. The kids can also find out if they are worthy to be ninjas at the Ninja Warrior Course or have their own Maze Runner sequel in the Maze.
