Parents know it’s difficult to get kids to take in medicine because not only medications taste awful, the ill kids are already in a cranky mood!
A mum encountered a similar problem when she tried to give her baby calpol (a version of acetaminophen). As usual, the medicine was spat out the minute it touches the baby’s lips.
Feeling exasperated, she suddenly remembered a trick that she saw and tried it out. She inserted an oral syringe full of medicine into the rubber nipple from the bottle and delivered the medication to her baby without wasting a drop. The baby gulped it all tear-free!
Many parents responded that they have used the same trick or a variation of it to great success. Since this method has been given a stamp of approval from parents, give this trick a try the next time your baby puts up a fuss.
Wow this is revolutionary!
